“Metal Paint Water Wind”

This is a portion of a door on a bunker above the Presidio Yacht Club.

The bunkers were built in military response to the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese on December 7, 1941. These armed bunkers guarded the entrance to San Francisco Bay, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge.
